Macmahon is prepared to financially assist and offer an employment contract to selected candidates to assist with university studies and final year projects.
You will also be given the opportunity to be employed over the summer period with the Macmahon Vacation Student Program.
Cadetships
Macmahon maintains its approach to recognising and rewarding young people in the tertiary education system though its Australian cadetship program.
Combining the cadetships with 12 weeks paid vacation work each year provides an outstanding opportunity for students to gain practical experience in the chosen field and develop an awareness of the opportunities and challenges they will face during their chosen careers.
At the end of the Cadetship successful students will be offered employment with Macmahon and are ‘bonded’ to work for a period equal to that for which they were sponsored.
Cadetships are offered to Civil Engineering students and TAFE Surveying students.
